Christ Church Padgate and Church Collective

Our Vision

We are the one church of Christ Church & Church Collective.
We offer two distinct styles of worship on a Sunday: Traditional liturgical Eucharist with hymns played on the organ and Holy Spirit-led Charismatic worship led by a band.

Throughout the week there are a range of ‘Collectives’ - small groups of people where everyone is invited to play their part as we worship creatively, love generously and serve locally. Collectives, or microchurches as we often call them, happen in different places and at different times across the week, meeting different people throughout Warrington. Whoever you are, there is a Collective for you!

Our Leadership

Rev. Simon Renison moved to Warrington and founded Church Collective late 2021, a church comprising of different ‘Collectives’ or microchurches. Since 2021 over 10 Collectives have started with the aim of taking the good news of Jesus to people where they are, in schools, community centres, cafe’s, etc.

Since Easter 2025, Church Collective and Christ Church have embarked on an amalgamation, to join together as one church, under Revd. Simon’s leadership.

Simon is married to his wife Hannah and they have 3 children. When he’s not at church he enjoys mountain biking, playing tennis and is also a dab hand at DIY.
